About

Background, practice, and selected credits — portraiture, documentary, and place.

Bio

David Obiefuna (Davidobi) is a photographer and visual storyteller whose work frequently centers people and place. In creator statements, he has described an interest in the intersection of humans and their “place of ease,” and a motivation to tell more hopeful stories while building images meant to feel timeless.

In an interview, he described starting his photography practice around 2017 and has spoken about creating and distributing photographic work through emerging digital art spaces.

Practice

The work spans portraiture, documentary, and place-based series: human presence, everyday scenes, and the emotional texture of environments — published here as coherent series, not only one-off posts.
